Swimming
All about Swimming
Swimming can be an individual or team sport and can involve any level of competition against a clock or others. But swimming can also just be a regular low-impact workout that allows you to target and strengthen your entire body. This can be practised in indoor our outdoor pools or in nature, which does as many wonders for the mind as it does for the body. Swimming also offers diversity with different practices, exercises and disciplines available within the sport so you can keep it as simple or varied as you wish.
Where to do it
There are a number of venues across the region who provide classes, lessons, spaces to practice and opportunities to experience with other people. You can find a selection of these below. Make sure to get in touch with the provider to find sessions that suit your needs.
